Surprise Anniversary Dinner!

It has been a busy summer for me this year, between family graduations, Father's Day, the 4th, and regularly scheduled vacations, I've had a hard time getting my blogging done.  Another thing that has kept me so busy was the great surprise dinner I pulled off with my family and friends help a few weeks ago for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary.  We had a beautiful elegant dinner for them at the Lone Eagle Grill on Lake Tahoe.  The food was excellent as well as the service and view.  I have to give credit to my brother for the venue as he suggested it, and it really was wonderful.  I took care of the planning and decor elements of the evening. Mom loves silver and a little bling, so we decided to go with a silver and gold theme with a little sparkle.  Here's how it all turned out.

I am so very proud of my parents, two people whose love has grown stronger and more tender over the years.  Wishing them both many more years of happiness together!

Take care,

Christina
